Magic Pines Horses
Here you will find the horses with our signature "Magic" names. These horses are either permanent Magic Pines residents, current project horses, or horses we have worked with and rehomed. You can visit our 'for sale' page to see which horses are available for purchase.
Falkor's Magic
Kahlua is a 2018 Arab x QH who was rescued from the sale yards in June 2019, handled and broken in with us and is a permanent resident at Magic Pines. Kali is fondly known as one of the kick-starters to the Magic Pines team opening the doors to outside horses for training.
Beggars Magic Dream
Dream is a 2013 QH x SH mare. She joined the team in 2017 and is now one of our lesson horses at Magic Pines. She is a permanent resident.
Magic Untamed
Wildfire is a 2016 Gypsy Cob x Arab gelding that joined the team in September 2021 and is now a well-rounded performance horse.
JUST LIKE MAGIC
River is a 2017 Stock Horse gelding who arrived in September 2022 and was broken in at Magic Pines. River is an excellent show jumper as well as one of our favourite lesson mounts.
MAGIC ON REPEAT
Echo is a 2019 Percheron x Brumby gelding. Echo was bred as a buckjumper and was rescued from the dogger pens in July 2022 alongside Safari. He is currently being educated as a performance horse after working through retained trauma.
MAGIC VALOUR
Sarabi is a 2013 14.2hh QH mare who was rescued from the sales in February 2023. She had her foal taken away the day before being dumped in the pens. She is currently being rehabilitated at Magic Pines.
A LITTLE MAGIC
Zafira is a 14hh 2019 QH x Welsh mare who we purchased in May 2025 with no formal education. We have enjoyed bringing her along the Magic Pines way and she is now a well-rounded, safe mount.
Magic of Afrika
Africa is a 2012 thoroughbred mare we took on to retrain in April 2021. She was rehomed to the perfect home in January 2022.
Magic Rising
Falcon is a 2016 ASH gelding who was rescued from the dogger pens in February 2022. Falcon was rehomed to a beautiful home in July 2022 where he continues to thrive.
Black Magic
Bailey is a 1988 QH x SH gelding, the first of the Magic Pines horses who joined us in 1997 and was a permanent resident. Bailey was a huge part of our family and sadly, but peacefully, passed away in 2022.
Magic Frost
Sydney is a 2002 Arab x Riding Pony gelding who joined the team in 2012. He was our most popular lesson mount and a permanent resident at Magic Pines. Syd passed away in January 2023.
MAGIC GONE WILD
Safari is a 2015 SH x TB mare who was rescued from the dogger pens in July 2022. Despite our efforts to save her, she was put to sleep three weeks later, after infection spread into her bloodstream.
Wish for Magic
Gingerbread was rescued out of the dogger pens in December 2021 and was rehomed immediately. He sadly passed away in January 2022 due to heart complications.
